Built From Broadcast Experience From Day One

Sirius Video Productions was founded in 1989 by Al Klimas with a clear purpose: give broadcast and corporate producers access to high-end equipment, experienced crews, and production support they could depend on. Al had already built a strong foundation in live television and sports production, and he saw an opportunity to bring that same level of technical discipline and visual quality into corporate, industrial, and commercial work.

The company began with a business plan, a loan, and a lot of determination. Over the years, that foundation grew into a full-service production resource trusted by clients throughout the United States. We expanded beyond camera rentals into complete production packages, multi-camera live events, streaming, staging, LED video wall, directing, and technical support while staying focused on the thing that mattered most from the beginning: helping producers solve real production challenges.

That steady evolution has allowed us to remain both technically capable and highly adaptable. We understand that every production has different constraints, so we build around the job rather than forcing the job into a fixed package.

Multi-Camera Live Streaming and Webcasts That Stay Organized

Live production creates a different kind of pressure because there is very little room for uncertainty once the event begins. Multiple cameras, switching, audio, streaming, staging, timing, and communication all have to work together in real time.

We provide multi-camera live streaming and webcast solutions for productions that need a coordinated technical approach. Depending on the event, that may include camera crews, directing, switching, production equipment, staging support, and other services needed to create a polished live broadcast experience.

Our team has extensive experience managing live production environments where timing, preparation, and communication are critical. That background allows us to stay calm under pressure and keep the production focused on the audience experience rather than the technical complexity happening behind the scenes.

More Than 10,000 Interviews and a Deep Understanding of Production Flow

Over the years, we have supported more than 10,000 successful interviews, and that experience has taught us how much the small details matter. Lighting, camera placement, sound, eyelines, pacing, and the overall environment can all influence how comfortable the subject feels and how professional the final result looks.

Interview production often appears simple from the outside, but seasoned producers know how much preparation goes into making a conversation feel natural on camera. We bring that experience into every setup so clients can focus on content while we manage the technical side.

That depth of experience also helps us work efficiently. We know how to anticipate common challenges, adjust quickly, and make informed decisions without slowing the production down.

Live Directing for Productions With Multiple Moving Parts

Al’s experience as a TD / video director has included directing eight to twelve cameras for live streamed events, giving him an understanding of how to coordinate coverage and make fast visual decisions in real time. In addition to weekly live streams and webcasts, our experience extends to business conferences, entertainment events, and film-style production where multiple cameras need to work as one system.

Directing a live event requires more than technical knowledge. It takes preparation, communication, timing, and the ability to anticipate what is about to happen while keeping the crew aligned.

We bring that same mindset into every multi-camera production. Our goal is to create coverage that feels intentional and polished while keeping the technical process organized behind the scenes.

Bringing Director of Photography Expertise Into Corporate and Industrial Production

While live sports helped shape Al’s career, he also recognized a major opportunity in the corporate and industrial market. Companies needed professional video that carried the same polish, discipline, and visual storytelling found in broadcast work, and that realization became an important part of Sirius Video’s growth.

Al’s work as a Director of Photography has appeared across countless industrial and corporate programs, and our client base has grown to include major organizations such as ExxonMobil, Halliburton, United Airlines, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Additional broadcast credits include work for Discovery Channel, Showtime, Lifetime Network, Children’s Television Workshop, and USA Network. That mix of corporate and broadcast experience gives us a useful perspective. We understand how to meet professional production standards while also adapting to the specific communication goals, brand requirements, and logistical realities of corporate clients.

Al Klimas

Meet Our Founder, Al Klimas

Al Klimas founded Sirius Video Productions after building a career in live broadcast television and sports production. A graduate of the University of North Carolina with bachelor’s degrees in Television Production and Technical Theatre, he began his career in Houston as a freelance sports cameraman and quickly gained experience working in some of the industry’s most demanding environments.

His broadcast clients have included ABC Sports, CBS Sports, FOX, NBC Sports, ESPN, and HBO. His career has also taken him around the world for major events, including three Olympic Games, the World Figure Skating Championships, and the European launch of the World League of American Football. Years spent working NFL, NBA, MLB, entertainment, and live television productions helped sharpen Al’s technical judgment, camera skills, and ability to perform under pressure. Those experiences became an important part of the way Sirius Video approaches every production day.
