Al Klimas
Al Klimas is highly organized, detail oriented professional with over 30 years experience in the video industry. In 1989, he founded Sirius Video Productions, Inc. to serve the needs of broadcast and corporate producers by providing high-end video equipment rental and crews. His production background includes hand-held and hard camera operation for live broadcast sports, entertainment, commercial, and corporate projects. As a specialist in film-style video production, his work has appeared on countless industrial programs as Director of Photography. In addition, his work as the Video Director of a multi-camera live TV program appears on-line every week. Al has a proven ability to grow positive relationships with clients and colleagues at all organizational levels. He is dedicated and focused, and with a positive work ethic, he is committed to providing unsurpassed service.

Career Highlights
After graduating from the University of North Carolina with BA’s in Television Production and Technical Theatre, Al began his career in Houston as a freelance sports cameraman. His clients include ABC Sports, CBS Sports, FOX, NBC Sports, ESPN, and HBO to name a few. The opportunity to work with the best of the best in the live broadcast industry has taken Al around the world. He has worked on three Olympics, the World Figure Skating Championships, and the European launch of the World League of American Football. Multiple seasons with the NFL, the NBA and MLB have honed his abilities in excellence.
While live sports and entertainment is exciting and challenging, Al realized that there was a tremendous opportunity to bring his Director of Photography skills into the corporate and industrial arena. In 1989, with a business plan, a loan, and a prayer, he formed Sirius Video Productions. Over the years, his client base has grown to include on-going work for corporate giants like ExxonMobil, Halliburton, United Airlines, and Hewlett Packard. Additional broadcast credits include work for Discovery Channel, Showtime, Lifetime Network, Children’s Television Workshop and USA Network. His work as a Video Director, directing four to eight cameras for live events, has provided the opportunity to fully utilize his skillsets.
